An early Dutch handbook for amateur filmmakers, published during the rapid expansion of amateur cinematography in the Netherlands. The text covers both the technical and creative aspects of filmmaking, with sections on cameras, exposure, lighting, composition, subjects, trick films, and scenarios.

Especially notable for its striking avant-garde wrapper, reproduced full-page in Jaroslav Andel’s standard reference work Avant-Garde Page Design, establishing the publication's significance within interwar Dutch graphic design.

Good condition. Some wear to wrappers and edges, with approximately 1-cm loss at foot of spine, a nick at center of spine, and some regluing to spine. Internally well preserved. Rare.
