Published by the Czechoslovak Werkbund (Svaz československá dila) in conjunction with the artist's cooperative Družstevní práce (Collective Work) Žijeme represented a bold attempt by the Werkbund to promote to the Czech public a modern and international living style based on standardized products designed in a functionalist and minimalist spirit.
