Field, T. R. Kosočtverce na ohradách [Rhombuses on Fences]. Prague-Spořilov: J. E. Novák, 1930. 8vo, 46 pp. Book one of Edice Lomikel. Inscribed by author to the poet Jan Noha. Field, born Theodor Adalbert Rosenfeld and also known as Bohdan Vojtěch Šumanský, was a satirical poet popular for reciting his poetry in Prague pubs and wine cellars. He spent enough time in England in his youth to be fluent in English and made use of various aliases and family histories to survive the Protectorate years despite his Jewish roots. His popularity as a bohemian poet has been revived twice - one in the late 1960s and again following the Velvet Revolution when his work was republished. VG condition. Light stain to border of back cover.
