Scarce issue of the avant-garde satirical and cabaret magazine Věstníček Červené Sedmy, published by the Prague troupe Červená Sedma. This number, titled Mrtvá (“The Dead”), contains essays, cabaret reportage, humorous texts and illustrations. Includes caricatures by Artur Longen (1885–1936), actor, writer, and caricaturist, co-founder of Červená Sedma. Longen was a central figure of Prague’s bohemian avant-garde scene, remembered for his cabaret performances, satirical drawings, and his connections with Jaroslav Hašek and the Čapek brothers.
