1928 100 Years of the Vítkovice Ironworks

100 let Vítkovických železáren [100 Years of the Vítkovice Ironworks]. Moravská Ostrava: Tisk Julius Kittl, 1928.

Large 4to (A4). 23 folding leaves, each opening to a three-panel spread, plus a large folding situational plan of the Vítkovice Ironworks dated 1928. Richly illustrated with photogravures, statistical charts, views of industrial facilities, workers' housing, administrative buildings, and safety-propaganda displays. Includes a photographic collage depicting products manufactured by the works.

Issued to commemorate the centenary of the Vítkovice Ironworks (1828–1928), one of the most important heavy-industrial enterprises in Central Europe. The publication combines corporate history, industrial photography, and graphic presentation characteristic of late-1920s Czechoslovak industrial publishing. Particularly notable is the large folding map of the vast Vítkovice complex, identifying individual production units, rail infrastructure, blast furnaces, steelworks, and associated facilities.
