Extensive illustrated trade catalogue issued by the Prague stationery, printing, and paper-goods manufacturer A. Haase, successor to the celebrated firm Gottlieb Haase Söhne. A comprehensive survey of the firm's production, ranging from labels, packaging, decorative papers, school supplies, envelopes, account books, writing implements, pen nibs, inks, rubber stamps, and office equipment to chromolithographed advertising materials and commercial printing services.
Profusely illustrated throughout with hundreds of engraved specimen designs, including transparent window decorations, ornamental labels printed in metallic inks, decorative borders, school-book labels, packaging graphics, price tags, penholders, writing nibs, and East Asian-inspired stationery. Several pages retain original colour and metallic-gold printed specimens.
Particularly noteworthy are the large folding specimen plates at the rear, including envelope templates, school-paper ruling patterns, penholder models, and a striking oversized display-lettering sheet with Gothic alphabets and ornamental signboard designs.
