An attractive early 20th-century survey of 19th-century fashion, selected by Dr. Oskar Fischel, with text by cultural historian Max von Boehn. The book reproduces a wide range of fashion plates and engravings from 1818–1842, illustrating the development of European styles during the Biedermeier and early Romantic eras. Inv. G3
