Czech edition containing six prose pieces: Pražský chodec, Honoré Subrac, Růže z Hildesheimu, Krásný film, Cox City, and Mesiáš. Pražský chodec (The Prague Walker) was inspired by Apollinaire’s stay in Prague in 1902 and recounts a French visitor’s encounter with the Eternal Jew wandering through the city; Vítězslav Nezval’s later poem of the same title was directly inspired by this narrative.
