Vítězslav Nezval – Akrobat Prague: Plejada (Rudolf Škeřík, Prague–Perštýn 2), 1927. 8vo, 44[3] pp. No. 91 of 200 numbered copies on Japon (“Japan”) paper, signed by the author on the publisher’s page. With a constructivist frontispiece by Vít Obrtel; typography also by Obrtel, set in Garamond Bodoni. Printed by the Průmyslová tiskárna, Prague, in summer 1927, issued as the first volume of the Plejada series of Czech authors; in addition to the ordinary issue on Antik paper, there were 50 numbered and signed copies on Van Gelder (Holland) paper and 200 numbered copies on Japon paper. Original cloth, front cover with gilt “VN” monogram, spine lettered in gilt. Very good condition. Inv. i1
