A collection of architectural drawings depicting Prague's historic Malá Strana (Lesser Town), including its churches, palaces, gardens, streets, courtyards, and architectural details. The 50 plates document buildings and urban views, including St. Nicholas Church, the Wallenstein Palace, Nerudova Street, the Vrtba Garden, and Malostranské náměstí. The drawings, many dating from the 1940s, record the architectural character of the district. Presentation copy inscribed by Kozák in pen ink to the Czech poet and future Nobel Prize laureate Jaroslav Seifert (1901–1986):Jaroslavu Seifertovi, národnímu umělci, básníku Prahy, ve veliké úctě Bohumír Kozák, r. 1969. [To Jaroslav Seifert, National Artist, poet of Prague, with great respect, Bohumír Kozák, 1969.] An association copy connecting two figures whose work was closely associated with Prague and its cultural and architectural heritage. Seifert received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1984. Bohumír Kozák (1885–1978) was a Czech architect, painter, draughtsman, and illustrator, particularly known for his architectural drawings of historic Prague. In Czech.
