Original typographic poster printed in red and blue.Poster advertising an afternoon and evening of jazz and dancing at Prague's Slovanský dům on Sunday, December 13, 1953, from 4 to 10 p.m. The programme featured jazz and dance music performed by the Škrobák Dance Orchestra and demonstrations by Jan Pavlík and Věra Cendelínová, winners of the 1953 Czechoslovak dance championship. The composition combines oversized red lettering with condensed blue typography, reflecting the influence of interwar Czech functionalist graphic design. Good condition. Original folds, with 3-cm tears along the vertical crease, other small closed tears at borders. Minor paper loss at the lower border near the crease.
