An extensively illustrated trade catalogue issued by the Josef Horák machine works and iron foundry in Lomnice nad Popelkou, established in 1827. The catalogue presents the firm’s machinery and components for the textile industry, particularly equipment for weaving and finishing. Illustrated throughout with finely rendered technical images of complete machines and individual components, including Jacquard looms, dobbies, card-cutting and lacing equipment, and an extensive numbered plate of parts for the firm’s “Ward” dobby system. Individual models are accompanied by specifications and descriptions of their operation.

The title page gives the firm as Josef Horák, továrna na stroje a slévárna železa, Lomnice n. Pop. ČSR, with Rudolf & Siegfried Beck of Vienna listed as general representatives for foreign markets. An attractive interwar Czechoslovak industrial catalogue, particularly notable for its numerous large, detailed machine illustrations and strong graphic presentation.
