Uncommon post-war promotional booklet for the Czechoslovak coal-mining industry, designed by Vladimír Hipman, who supplied the the cover photograph, drawings, and typographic arrangement. Hipman's cover photograph of a miner underground is complemented by an inventive interior combining industrial photography, maps, technical diagrams, and ISOTYPE-inspired infographics explaining mining methods, vocational training, and the industrial uses of coal.
