Illustrated throughout with 16 photographic reproductions and plans, including views of the newly completed Municipal House (Obecní dům), Smetana Hall, decorative mosaics, and architectural details. Printed by Dr. Ed. Grégr & Son, Prague; reproductions by the Graphic Institute of J. Štenc. An uncommon English-language guide issued shortly after the completion of Prague's most important Art Nouveau public building, designed by Antonín Balšánek and Osvald Polívka and opened in 1912. Intended for foreign visitors, the guide provides a concise history of the building together with descriptions of its artistic decoration, ceremonial halls, and public spaces.

Good condition. Wrappers lightly soiled and toned, with scattered handling marks and creasing. 3-cm closed tear to rear wrapper; tears at spine fold. Internally clean and sound.

A scarce English-language souvenir and architectural guide documenting the Municipal House at the moment of its inauguration.
