Translated into English from the Latin version of Knorr von Rosenroth, and collated with the original chaldee and Hebrew text by the British occultist Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers (1854 – 1918) , a British occultist known as one of the founders of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, a ceremonial magic order.8vo.(220 x 140mm), Illustration: Third impression. Affixed to the front endpage is the bookseller label of John M. Watkins, London's oldest esoteric bookshop specializing in esotericism, mysticism, occultism, oriental religion and spirituality. The shop was founded by Watkins, a friend of Madame Blavatsky, in 1897 at 26 Charing Cross. Very good condition, solid spine, no cracking to hinges, some speckling to endpages and tips.
