A beautiful album by the celebrated Moravian painter Joža Uprka (1861–1940), known for his depictions of folk costumes and traditions of southern Moravia and Slovakia. This work focuses on the artistry of headscarves and their tying (vázání šátků), with vibrant color reproductions of brides and women in traditional festive dress from Kunovice, Vlčnov, Hroznová Lhota, and other villages.
