Invitation to the Pace/MacGill Gallery exhibition, September 4–October 4, 2008, held in conjunction with the publication of Koudelka’s landmark photobook Invasion 68: Prague and a related exhibition at Aperture Gallery. The recto reproduces Koudelka’s celebrated image of a wristwatch held above an eerily deserted Wenceslas Square, while the verso shows Warsaw Pact soldiers on tanks confronting civilians. An attractive signed piece of ephemera associated with one of the defining bodies of postwar documentary photography. Fine condition.
