DAV year 1 1924/25 (1+2 complete) Original wrappers for first two years designed by Mikuláš Galanda. With original woodcuts and linocuts by Galanda. The name DAV is composed of the initials of the first names of its members - Daniel Okáli, Andrej Sirácky and Vladimír Clementis). DAV was a group of Slovak leftist intellectuals that formed in the 1920s around this periodical. Galanda worked with Ludoviť Fulla to create the DAV artistic identity, designing book, posters and newsletters for the group. A4. Year 1: Issue 1 in VG with faint owner name in pen to top left border. Issue 2 with restored loss to upper left border and lower right border of front cover.
