Includes catalogue of 20 works, two full-page reproductions, and a text by Édouard Jaguer. Invitation to the vernissage (June 5, 1962) printed within. Laid in is the rare printed death notice for Toyen (21 septembre 1902 – 9 novembre 1980), with the quotation "Je m'aperçois que ma page blanche est devenue verte", announcing the funeral at the Cimetière des Batignolles, Paris, November 13, 1980. Condition: Very good; wrappers fresh, interior clean and crisp, faint rusting to staples as often. A scarce exhibition document from one of the major surrealist painters, made poignant with the inclusion of the original obituary card. INV Port2
