An attractive interwar Czechoslovak hotel and travel directory, published for the international tourist market and printed throughout in French, German, and English.
The volume opens with a substantial 25-page trilingual introduction to Czechoslovakia, presenting the country to foreign visitors and describing its geography, natural scenery, principal regions and cities, mountain ranges, spas, tourist resorts, cultural attractions, and opportunities for travel and recreation. The remainder comprises an extensive directory of hotels throughout Bohemia, Moravia-Silesia, Slovakia, and Carpathian Ruthenia, with practical information including proprietors or managers, telephone numbers, numbers and types of rooms, meal prices, and accommodation rates.
Good condition. A solid copy. Foxing concentrated along the right border of the front wrapper, with light general soiling and age wear to wrappers; contents well preserved.
