1935 Sutnar competition design binding Rare

Štech, V.V. Sochaři Pražského baroku [Les sculpteurs baroques de Prague/Prager Barockbildhauer]. Prague: Statní grafické školy, 1935. 8vo. 59+37 pp. Typo and cloth cover design by Ladislav Sutnar bound in the Otto Blažek bookbinding workshop at the State Graphic School. Entered into competition at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague in 1935 where it was awarded. Fewer than 50 copies are assumed to have been made with these Sutnar-designed cloth bindings.
