Kouba (1906-1938); 9, [1] pp. With a four-color woodcut frontispiece and overall design by Kouba, Miroslav Haller (1901-1968) was the leading poet and critic of the Linie Group, an avant-garde movement active in České Budějovice after 1931, which embraced cubist and other modernist tendencies in opposition to the dominant local school of traditional landscape painting and decorative arts. Haller published extensively in the group's journal "Linie." One of 200 copies. This copy with the frontispiece pencil signed by the artist.
