1933 Catalogue for the Nation-wide Czechoslovak Glass Exhibition in Prague
Katalog ceslostátní výstavy Československého skla v praze [Catalogue for the Nation-wide Czechoslovak Glass Exhibition in Prague] Prague: Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague, 1933. Held at the Museum of Decorative Arts. Curated and designed by Devětsil and Czech Werkbund architect Antonin Heythum (one of the designers of the Baba Estate). This was a critically acclaimed glass exhibition that resulted in Heythem appointment as one of the Czech curators for the World Fair held in Brussels in 1934-35 and in Paris in 1937. Numerous photographs including Bohuslav Fuchs building design, exhibition layout, list of exhibitors, advertisements in back with tubular steel furniture, green stiff board endpages. Catalogue designed by the functionalist architect Emanuel Hrbek. 49 pages+ advertisements. VG condition. 17 x 12 cm.
