Hand-set in Staro-Mediaeval type and printed by Vladislav Burda at Vršovice on handmade paper incorporating original woodcut illustrations. Bound in burgundy cloth, spine lettered in gilt; untrimmed. Minor wear to spine ends and corners, otherwise a very good copy. A finely produced Czech private-press edition. The colophon records a total edition of 250 copies: nos. 1–50 on Zanders paper and nos. 51–250 on Czech handmade paper with original woodcuts; this copy is no. 177 from the latter issue. Printed in Staro-Mediaeval type and illustrated with striking original wood engravings, the book was issued as Volume III of the Edice Lotos series. An attractive example of Czech bibliophile printing of the early 1930s, combining medieval-inspired design, fine typography, and private-press craftsmanship.
